The Blues You Can Use is a weekly Non-profit blues show that you can listen to every Thursday night at 7pm.... on Gary, Indiana's only FM radio station athe Gary Career Center - WGVE 88.7 FM. Host Clarence Stevens has been broadcasting the blues for over 20 years and has been educating a new generation of Blues listeners throughout the NW Indiana and South Chicago area. Clarence has been known to also hang out with the likes of his personal friends Koko Taylor, Artie "Blues Boy" White, Bobby Blue Bland, and a ton of other national and local blues artists when they come into town as you can see in our photos section. In May of 2006, The Legendary Queen Of The Blues - Koko Taylor became a welcome addition to the show as co-host when she is not touring or recording with that busy schedule of hers. Not to many Blues Radio shows can take claim to having such a Grammy Award winner as a regular co-host on their show. Here you can listen to our interviews with these amazing artists, see the photos of us in the studio with some of these amazing musicians, and of course some music reviews and links to all the BLues related websites you are looking for. |
